Simply put, our mission is to help elect candidates, (without regard for political party affiliation) who are committed to passing common sense legislation that is supported by a vast majority of Americans across party lines.

We are committed to bringing the discussion and the media noise "back to the middle" and away from the radical corners of Democrat left vs. Republican right and Red vs. Blue, to allow the Common Ground Voter to swing the vote in the direction that best serves the common good.

We understand it’s not a perfect world.

Common Ground Voters clearly understand there is no one perfect position and that legislation and political issues are complex, messy, imperfect processes. However, we ardently believe and are fully committed to the "best serving" position possible and to being selfless in our vote even when it may not suit us perfectly or advance one's own personal agenda. Rather we vote for candidates and issues that support our neighbors, our friends, ourselves and those we have never met across state lines regardless of political affiliation, race or gender.
